कृत्वौर्ध्वदैहिकमथो व्यथयाभिभूतौ शोकोत्थया करुणयार्तगिरा विलप्य ।
चित्रार्पिताविव निरस्तसमस्तचेष्टौ तौ संस्थितौ सुखमशून्यहृदौ विवृत्तौ ॥ ३१ ॥

31.
After performing the funeral rites, then, overwhelmed by anguish and lamenting with pained words born of grief and compassion, those two, as if painted figures, completely ceased all their activities. They remained still and quiet, their hearts full of sorrow, having withdrawn from worldly engagement.
