योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-65, verse-28

जग्मतुर्देहमुत्सृज्य ततस्तौ पितरौ तयोः ।
स्वर्गं जरार्तावुड्डीय नीडादिव विहंगमौ ॥ २८ ॥
jagmaturdehamutsṛjya tatastau pitarau tayoḥ ,
svargaṃ jarārtāvuḍḍīya nīḍādiva vihaṃgamau 28
28. jagmatuḥ deham utsṛjya tataḥ tau pitarau tayoḥ
svargam jarārttau uḍḍīya nīḍāt iva vihaṅgamau
28. tataḥ tayoḥ jarārttau tau pitarau deham utsṛjya
svargam jagmatuḥ nīḍāt iva uḍḍīya vihaṅgamau
28. Then, their two parents, afflicted by old age, abandoned their bodies and went to heaven (svarga), just like two birds flying away from a nest.
