योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-60, verse-7

दिनं तन्मात्रवातेन तत्प्राणात्मतया यथा ।
आक्रम्यन्ते प्रचण्डेन दैत्यौघेनामरा इव ॥ ७ ॥

7. Just as the gods (amara) are overwhelmed by a formidable host of demons, so too the day is encompassed by the air of subtle elements (tanmātra) through its nature as vital force (prāṇa).

7. יום יום, בגלל רוח היסודות העדינים וכחלק מכוח החיים, הן נכבשות ונשטפות כפי שהאלים הותקפו בידי נחיל דֵייחְתְיָה (שדים) עז.
