योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-15, verse-12

ब्रह्मन्यावदहंकारवारिदः परिजृम्भते ।
तावद्विकासमायाति तृष्णाकुटजमञ्जरी ॥ १२ ॥

brahmanyāvadahaṃkāravāridaḥ parijṛmbhate ,
tāvadvikāsamāyāti tṛṣṇākuṭajamañjarī 12

12. brahman yāvat ahaṅkāravāridaḥ parijṛmbhate
| tāvat vikāsam āyāti tṛṣṇākuṭajamañjarī ||

12. O Brahmin, as long as the cloud of ego (ahaṅkāra) expands, so long does the cluster of Kuṭaja flowers, representing desire (tṛṣṇā), blossom forth.

12. הוֹ בְּרַהְמַן, כל עוד ענן הגשם של הַאַהַנְקָארָה (תחושת האגו) מתפשט בשמיים, כך מלבלב ניצן התשוקה והתאווה.
