वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-59, verse-12

इन्द्रमेवं ब्रुवाणं तु मान्धाता वाक्यमब्रवीत् ।
क्व मे शक्र प्रतिहतं शासनं पृथिवीतले ॥१२॥
12. indramevaṃ bruvāṇaṃ tu māndhātā vākyamabravīt ,
kva me śakra pratihataṃ śāsanaṃ pṛthivītale.
12. indram evam bruvāṇam tu māndhātā vākyam abravīt
kva me śakra pratihatam śāsanam pṛthivītale
12. tu māndhātā evam bruvāṇam indram vākyam abravīt
śakra me śāsanam pṛthivītale kva pratihatam
12. But Mandhāta spoke these words to Indra, who was speaking thus: 'O Śakra, where is my command (śāsana) obstructed on earth?'
