वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-71, verse-7

हतामिन्द्रजिता सीतामिह श्रुत्वैव राघवः ।
हनूमद्वचनात् सौम्य ततो मोहमुपागतः ॥७॥
7. hatāmindrajitā sītāmiha śrutvaiva rāghavaḥ ,
hanūmadvacanāt saumya tato mohamupāgataḥ.
7. hatām indrajitā sītām iha śrutvā eva rāghavaḥ
hanūmadvacanāt saumya tataḥ moham upāgataḥ
7. saumya iha indrajitā hatām sītām hanūmadvacanāt

7. O gentle one (saumya), having heard here from Hanūmān's words that Sītā had been killed by Indrajit, Rāghava then fell unconscious.
