वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-21, verse-3

अयथावच्च ते वर्णो दीनश्चासि निशाचर ।
नासि कच्चिदमित्राणां क्रुद्धानां वशमागतः ॥३॥
3. ayathāvacca te varṇo dīnaścāsi niśācara ,
nāsi kaccidamitrāṇāṃ kruddhānāṃ vaśamāgataḥ.
3. ayathāvat ca te varṇaḥ dīnaḥ ca asi niśācara na
asi kaccit amitrāṇām kruddhānām vaśam āgataḥ
