लक्ष्मणश्चात्र धर्मात्मा मातंगानामिवर्षभः ।
यस्य बाणपथं प्राप्य न जीवेदपि वासवः ॥३३॥

33. And here is Lakṣmaṇa, whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is righteous, like the chief among elephants. Upon entering the range of his arrows, not even Indra (Vāsava) would survive.
