मनसा संततापाथ तच्छ्रुत्वा राक्षसाधिपः ।
शार्दूलस्य महद्वाक्यमथोवाच स रावणः ॥१४॥

14. Having heard that important statement of Shārdūla, the king of the rākṣasas (demons), Ravana, then spoke, his mind filled with continuous anguish.
