वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-38, verse-13

तस्मात् सर्वास्ववस्थासु मान्याः पूज्याश्च पार्थिवाः ।
त्वं तु धर्ममविज्ञाय केवलं मोहमास्थितः ॥१३॥
13. tasmāt sarvāsvavasthāsu mānyāḥ pūjyāśca pārthivāḥ ,
tvaṃ tu dharmamavijñāya kevalaṃ mohamāsthitaḥ.
13. tasmāt sarvāsu avasthāsu mānyāḥ pūjyāḥ ca pārthivāḥ
tvam tu dharmam avijñāya kevalam moham āsthitaḥ
13. tasmāt pārthivāḥ sarvāsu avasthāsu mānyāḥ ca pūjyāḥ.
tu tvam dharmam avijñāya kevalam moham āsthitaḥ.
13. Therefore, kings are to be honored and revered in all circumstances. But you, by not understanding the natural law (dharma), have merely succumbed to delusion.
