वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-24, verse-13

स विद्धः क्षतजादिग्धः सर्वगात्रेषु राघवः ।
बभूव रामः संध्याभ्रैर्दिवाकर इवावृतः ॥१३॥
13. sa viddhaḥ kṣatajādigdhaḥ sarvagātreṣu rāghavaḥ ,
babhūva rāmaḥ saṃdhyābhrairdivākara ivāvṛtaḥ.

13. Wounded and smeared with blood on all his limbs, Rāma, the descendant of Raghu, became like the sun enveloped by the evening clouds.
