10. He, Rama (rāghavaḥ), was surrounded by those terrible (ghoraiḥ) hosts (gaṇaiḥ) of Rākṣasas, just as Lord Mahadeva is surrounded by the hosts (gaṇaiḥ) of his attendants (pāriṣadām) on auspicious occasions (tithiṣu).
