वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-61, verse-10

अराजके धनं नास्ति नास्ति भार्याप्यराजके ।
इदमत्याहितं चान्यत् कुतः सत्यमराजके ॥१०॥
10. arājake dhanaṃ nāsti nāsti bhāryāpyarājake ,
idamatyāhitaṃ cānyat kutaḥ satyamarājake.

10. In a country without a ruler, there is no wealth; nor is there a wife in such a state. This is another great calamity. How, then, can truth exist in a kingless land?
