In that excellent forest (vanottama), which was teeming with numerous kinds of animals and birds, adorned with trees bearing clusters of varied flowers, and resonant with the calls of fierce beasts, those who had mastered their senses (jitendriyāḥ) enjoyed themselves in great comfort.
