स लक्ष्मणः कृष्णमृगं हत्वा मेध्यं पतापवान् ।
अथ चिक्षेप सौमित्रिः समिद्धे जातवेदसि ॥१६॥
16. sa lakṣmaṇaḥ kṛṣṇamṛgaṃ hatvā medhyaṃ patāpavān ,
