वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-2, verse-8

सो ऽहं विश्रममिच्छामि पुत्रं कृत्वा प्रजाहिते ।
संनिकृष्टानिमान् सर्वाननुमान्य द्विजर्षभान् ॥८॥
8. so'haṃ viśramamicchāmi putraṃ kṛtvā prajāhite ,
saṃnikṛṣṭānimān sarvānanumānya dvijarṣabhān.
8. saḥ aham viśramam icchāmi putram kṛtvā prajāhite
saṃnikṛṣṭān imān sarvān anumānya dvijarṣabhān
8. saḥ aham putram prajāhite kṛtvā,
saṃnikṛṣṭān imān sarvān dvijarṣabhān anumānya,
viśramam icchāmi
8. Therefore, I desire to rest, having appointed my son for the welfare of the people, and having sought the permission of all these eminent Brahmins (dvijarṣabha) who are gathered here.
