वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-104, verse-15

तमङ्के भ्रातरं कृत्वा रामो वचनमब्रवीत् ।
श्यामं नलिनपत्राक्षं मत्तहंसस्वरः स्वयम् ॥१५॥
15. tamaṅke bhrātaraṃ kṛtvā rāmo vacanamabravīt ,
śyāmaṃ nalinapatrākṣaṃ mattahaṃsasvaraḥ svayam.

15. Having placed his dark-complexioned, lotus-leaf-eyed brother on his lap, Rama himself, whose voice resembled that of an intoxicated swan, spoke these words.
