वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-71, verse-23

वित्तमन्यच्च सुबहु द्विजेभ्यो रघुनन्दनः ।
ददौ गोदानमुद्दिश्य पुत्राणां पुत्रवत्सलः ॥२३॥
23. vittamanyacca subahu dvijebhyo raghunandanaḥ ,
dadau godānamuddiśya putrāṇāṃ putravatsalaḥ.

23. And the delight of Raghu (raghunandana), affectionate towards his sons, gave much other wealth to the twice-born (dvija), with the cow-giving (godāna) (ceremony) of his sons in mind.
