वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-29, verse-21

स हत्वा राक्षसान् सर्वान्यज्ञघ्नान् रघुनन्दनः ।
ऋषिभिः पूजितस्तत्र यथेन्द्रो विजये पुरा ॥२१॥
21. sa hatvā rākṣasān sarvānyajñaghnān raghunandanaḥ ,
ṛṣibhiḥ pūjitastatra yathendro vijaye purā.

21. Having killed all the demons, the obstructors of ritual Vedic rituals (yajña), Rāma (Raghunandana) was honored there by the sages, just as Indra was formerly worshipped in victory.
