बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-73, verse-8

एकादि पञ्चपर्यन्तं रश्मिसंख्या भवेद्यदि ।
दरिद्रा दुःखसंतप्ता अपि जाताः कुलोत्तमे ॥८॥
8. ekādi pañcaparyantaṃ raśmisaṃkhyā bhavedyadi .
daridrā duḥkhasaṃtaptā api jātāḥ kulottame.
8. eka-ādi pañca-paryantam raśmi-saṃkhyā bhavet yadi
daridrāḥ duḥkha-saṃtaptāḥ api jātāḥ kula-uttame
8. If the number of rays (raśmi-saṃkhyā) ranges from one to five, then even those born in a noble family (kula) become impoverished and afflicted by sorrow.
