क्रौष्टकिरुवाच ।
भगवञ्छ्रोतुमिच्छामि यत्स्वरूपं विवस्वतः ।
यत्कारणं चादिदेवः सोऽभवत्कश्यपात्मजः ॥१५॥

bhagavañchrotumicchāmi yatsvarūpaṃ vivasvataḥ .
yatkāraṇaṃ cādidevaḥ so'bhavatkaśyapātmajaḥ.

Krauṣṭaki said: "O venerable one, I wish to hear about the true nature of Vivasvat (the Sun god), and the reason why that primeval deity became the son of Kaśyapa."
