मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-118, verse-4

अनेन तपसा भक्त्या स्तोत्रेणोच्चारितेन च ।
परितुष्टोऽस्मि ते भूप व्रियतां भवता वरः ॥४॥
4. anena tapasā bhaktyā stotreṇoccāritena ca .
parituṣṭo'smi te bhūpa vriyatāṃ bhavatā varaḥ.
4. anena tapasā bhaktyā stotreṇa uccāritena ca
parituṣṭaḥ asmi te bhūpa vriyatām bhavatā varaḥ
4. O king, I am greatly pleased by these austerities (tapas), devotion (bhakti), and the recited hymn. Let a boon be chosen by you.
