स धर्मात्मा महात्मा च स मैत्रः सर्वजन्तुषु ।
करन्धमोऽभवद्भूपस्त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुतः ॥२२॥

22. sa dharmātmā mahātmā ca sa maitraḥ sarvajantuṣu .
karandhamo'bhavadbhūpastriṣu lokeṣu viśrutaḥ.

22. saḥ dharmātmā mahātmā ca saḥ maitraḥ sarvajantuṣu
karandhamaḥ abhavat bhūpaḥ triṣu lokeṣu viśrutaḥ

22. He was a person of righteous (dharma) character (ātman) and a great soul (mahātmā); he was friendly towards all beings. King Karandhama became renowned in the three worlds.
