महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-52, verse-22

दिवस्पृङ्नरवीराणां निघ्नतामितरेतरम् ।
संप्रहारे सुतुमुले तव तेषां च भारत ॥२२॥
22. divaspṛṅnaravīrāṇāṁ nighnatāmitaretaram ,
saṁprahāre sutumule tava teṣāṁ ca bhārata.
22. divas-pṛk nara-vīrāṇām nighnatām itaretaram
saṃprahāre su-tumule tava teṣām ca bhārata
22. bhārata tava teṣām ca nara-vīrāṇām itaretaram nighnatām
divas-pṛk [śabdaḥ] su-tumule saṃprahāre [babhūva]
22. O Bhārata, during that exceedingly tumultuous battle between your warriors and theirs, the sound of heroic men striking each other reached the sky.
