महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-170, verse-8

तस्य दारक्रियां तात चिकीर्षुरहमप्युत ।
अनुरूपादिव कुलादिति चिन्त्य मनो दधे ॥८॥
8. tasya dārakriyāṁ tāta cikīrṣurahamapyuta ,
anurūpādiva kulāditi cintya mano dadhe.
8. tasya dārakriyām tāta cikīrṣuḥ aham api uta
anurūpāt iva kulāt iti cintya manaḥ dadhe
8. tāta api uta aham tasya dārakriyām cikīrṣuḥ
anurūpāt iva kulāt iti cintya manaḥ dadhe
8. O dear one, I too, desiring his marriage, considered applying my mind to (finding a bride) 'as if from a suitable family'.
