एषा दिक्सा द्विजश्रेष्ठ यां सर्वः प्रतिपद्यते ।

O best among the twice-born (dvija), this initiation (diksā) which everyone strives to achieve, is, however, veiled by a lack of proper understanding (anavabodha). Therefore, happiness is not attained through it.
