महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-33, verse-16

पाशोपधानां ज्यातन्त्रीं चापदण्डां महास्वनाम् ।
शरवर्णां धनुर्वीणां शत्रुमध्ये प्रवादय ॥१६॥
16. pāśopadhānāṁ jyātantrīṁ cāpadaṇḍāṁ mahāsvanām ,

16. In the midst of the enemies, play your bow-lute (dhanurvīṇā), which has nooses as its rests, bowstrings as its strings, bow-staves as its frame, produces a mighty sound, and has the appearance of arrows.
