महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-23, verse-13

तां दृष्ट्वा पुरुषा राजन्प्राद्रवन्त दिशो दश ।
गन्धर्वाणां भयत्रस्ताः केचिद्दृष्टीर्न्यमीलयन् ॥१३॥
13. tāṁ dṛṣṭvā puruṣā rājanprādravanta diśo daśa ,
gandharvāṇāṁ bhayatrastāḥ keciddṛṣṭīrnyamīlayan.
13. tām dṛṣṭvā puruṣā rājan prādravanta diśaḥ daśa
gandharvāṇām bhayatrastāḥ kecit dṛṣṭīḥ nyamīlayan
13. O King, upon seeing her, the men (puruṣa), terrified by the Gandharvas, ran away in all ten directions; some even closed their eyes.
