महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-14, verse-14

कीचकश्च सुकेशान्ते मूढो मदनदर्पितः ।
सोऽवमंस्यति मां दृष्ट्वा न यास्ये तत्र शोभने ॥१४॥
14. kīcakaśca sukeśānte mūḍho madanadarpitaḥ ,
so'vamaṁsyati māṁ dṛṣṭvā na yāsye tatra śobhane.
14. kīcakaḥ ca sukeśānte mūḍhaḥ madanadarpitaḥ saḥ
avamansyati mām dṛṣṭvā na yāsye tatra śobhane
14. O beautiful-haired lady, Kicaka is foolish and arrogant from passion. He will insult me upon seeing me. O lovely one, I will not go there.
