महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-13, verse-19

अशक्यरूपैः पुरुषैरध्वानं गन्तुमिच्छसि ।
यथा निश्चेतनो बालः कूलस्थः कूलमुत्तरम् ।
तर्तुमिच्छति मन्दात्मा तथा त्वं कर्तुमिच्छसि ॥१९॥
19. aśakyarūpaiḥ puruṣairadhvānaṁ gantumicchasi ,
yathā niścetano bālaḥ kūlasthaḥ kūlamuttaram ,
tartumicchati mandātmā tathā tvaṁ kartumicchasi.
19. aśakyarūpaiḥ puruṣaiḥ adhvanam gantum
icchasi yathā niścetanaḥ bālaḥ
kūlasthaḥ kūlam uttaram tartum icchati
mandātmā tathā tvam kartum icchasi
19. You desire to undertake a journey with men who are inherently incapable. It is just like a senseless child or a dull-witted person (mandātman), standing on one bank, wishing to cross to the opposite bank. Similarly, you wish to accomplish something impossible.
