महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-92, verse-10

तानलक्ष्मीसमाविष्टान्दर्पोपहतचेतसः ।
दैतेयान्दानवांश्चैव कलिरप्याविशत्ततः ॥१०॥
10. tānalakṣmīsamāviṣṭāndarpopahatacetasaḥ ,
daiteyāndānavāṁścaiva kalirapyāviśattataḥ.
10. tān alakṣmīsamāviṣṭān darpopahatacetasaḥ
daiteyān dānavān ca eva kaliḥ api āviśat tataḥ
10. Then the age of quarrel (Kali) also entered those Daityas and Dānavas who were overcome by misfortune (alakṣmī) and whose minds were afflicted by pride (darpa).
