महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-92, verse-1

युधिष्ठिर उवाच ।
न वै निर्गुणमात्मानं मन्ये देवर्षिसत्तम ।
तथास्मि दुःखसंतप्तो यथा नान्यो महीपतिः ॥१॥
1. yudhiṣṭhira uvāca ,
na vai nirguṇamātmānaṁ manye devarṣisattama ,
tathāsmi duḥkhasaṁtapto yathā nānyo mahīpatiḥ.
1. yudhiṣṭhiraḥ uvāca na vai nirguṇam ātmānam manye devarṣisattama
tathā asmi duḥkhasaṃtaptaḥ yathā na anyaḥ mahīpatiḥ
1. Yudhishthira said: 'O best of divine sages, I certainly do not consider myself to be devoid of virtues (ātman). Yet, I am so tormented by sorrow just as no other king (mahīpati) is.'
