महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-92, verse-12

मानाभिभूतानचिराद्विनाशः प्रत्यपद्यत ।
निर्यशस्यास्ततो दैत्याः कृत्स्नशो विलयं गताः ॥१२॥
12. mānābhibhūtānacirādvināśaḥ pratyapadyata ,
niryaśasyāstato daityāḥ kṛtsnaśo vilayaṁ gatāḥ.
12. mānābhibhūtān acirāt vināśaḥ pratyapadyata
niryaśasyāḥ tataḥ daityāḥ kṛtsnaśaḥ vilayaṃ gatāḥ
12. For those overcome by pride, destruction quickly ensued. Thereafter, those inglorious Daityas (demons) completely met their dissolution.
