इतिहासमिमं चापि कलिनाशनमुच्यते ।
शक्यमाश्वासितुं श्रुत्वा त्वद्विधेन विशां पते ॥१०॥

And this history (itihāsa), which is said to dispel the misfortunes of the Kali Age, can certainly bring comfort to someone like you, O Lord of the people, once it is heard.
