महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-6, verse-14

परं श्रेयः पाण्डवेया मयोक्तं न मे तच्च श्रुतवानाम्बिकेयः ।
यथातुरस्येव हि पथ्यमन्नं न रोचते स्मास्य तदुच्यमानम् ॥१४॥
14. paraṁ śreyaḥ pāṇḍaveyā mayoktaṁ; na me tacca śrutavānāmbikeyaḥ ,
yathāturasyeva hi pathyamannaṁ; na rocate smāsya taducyamānam.
14. param śreyaḥ pāṇḍaveya mayā uktam
na me tat ca śrutavān āmbikeyaḥ
yathā āturasya iva hi pathyam annam
na rocate sma asya tat ucyamānam
14. "O Pāṇḍaveya (son of Pāṇḍu), I spoke what was the supreme good, but Ambikā's son (Dhṛtarāṣṭra) did not listen to it from me. Indeed, just as wholesome food does not appeal to a sick person, so too that advice, when it was being offered, did not appeal to him."
