मयाप्युक्तं यत्क्षमं कौरवाणां हितं पथ्यं धृतराष्ट्रस्य चैव ।
तद्वै पथ्यं तन्मनो नाभ्युपैति ततश्चाहं क्षममन्यन्न मन्ये ॥१३॥

tadvai pathyaṁ tanmano nābhyupaiti; tataścāhaṁ kṣamamanyanna manye.

"What I said was indeed suitable for the Kauravas and beneficial and proper for Dhṛtarāṣṭra himself. However, his mind does not accept that truly wholesome advice. Therefore, I do not consider any other course of action suitable."
