महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-254, verse-4

द्रौपद्युवाच ।
किं ते ज्ञातैर्मूढ महाधनुर्धरैरनायुष्यं कर्म कृत्वातिघोरम् ।
एते वीराः पतयो मे समेता न वः शेषः कश्चिदिहास्ति युद्धे ॥४॥
4. draupadyuvāca ,
kiṁ te jñātairmūḍha mahādhanurdharai;ranāyuṣyaṁ karma kṛtvātighoram ,
ete vīrāḥ patayo me sametā; na vaḥ śeṣaḥ kaścidihāsti yuddhe.
4. draupadī uvāca kim te jñātaiḥ mūḍha
mahādhanurdharaiḥ anāyuṣyam karma kṛtvā
atighoram ete vīrāḥ patayaḥ me sametāḥ
na vaḥ śeṣaḥ kaścid iha asti yuddhe
4. Draupadi said, "O foolish one, what is the use of those great archers, your kinsmen, after you have committed such an extremely dreadful deed that shortens life? My heroic husbands are assembled here; no trace of you will remain in this battle."
