महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-215, verse-13

स्कन्दं श्रुत्वा ततो देवा वासवं सहिताब्रुवन् ।
अविषह्यबलं स्कन्दं जहि शक्राशु माचिरम् ॥१३॥
13. skandaṁ śrutvā tato devā vāsavaṁ sahitābruvan ,
aviṣahyabalaṁ skandaṁ jahi śakrāśu māciram.
13. skandam śrutvā tataḥ devāḥ vāsavam sahitāḥ abruvan
aviṣahyabalam skandam jahi śakra āśu mā ciram
13. Then, having heard of Skanda, the assembled gods said to Indra, "O Indra, quickly kill Skanda, whose strength is irresistible. Do not delay!"
