महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-139, verse-5

जघन्यरात्रे निद्रान्धः सावशेषे तमस्यपि ।
चरन्तं गहनेऽरण्ये मेने स पितरं मृगम् ॥५॥
5. jaghanyarātre nidrāndhaḥ sāvaśeṣe tamasyapi ,
carantaṁ gahane'raṇye mene sa pitaraṁ mṛgam.

5. In the last part of the night, with some darkness still remaining, he (Parāvasu), blinded by sleep, mistook his father, who was moving in the dense forest, for a deer.
