महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-139, verse-14

प्रेष्यैरुत्सार्यमाणस्तु राजन्नर्वावसुस्तदा ।
न मया ब्रह्महत्येयं कृतेत्याह पुनः पुनः ॥१४॥
14. preṣyairutsāryamāṇastu rājannarvāvasustadā ,
na mayā brahmahatyeyaṁ kṛtetyāha punaḥ punaḥ.
14. preṣyaiḥ utsāryamāṇaḥ tu rājan arvāvasuḥ tadā na
mayā brahmahatyā iyam kṛtā iti āha punaḥ punaḥ
14. But then, O King, as Arvāvasu was being driven away by the servants, he repeatedly said, 'This act of brahmanicide was not committed by me!'
