महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-139, verse-17

ततो देवा वरं तस्मै ददुरग्निपुरोगमाः ।
स चापि वरयामास पितुरुत्थानमात्मनः ॥१७॥
17. tato devā varaṁ tasmai daduragnipurogamāḥ ,
sa cāpi varayāmāsa piturutthānamātmanaḥ.

saḥ ca api varayāmāsa pituḥ utthānam ātmanaḥ
17. Thereupon, the gods, with Agni at their forefront, granted a boon to him. And he (Arvāvasu) in turn requested the resurrection of his own father.
