महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-129, verse-10

एकरात्रमुषित्वेह द्वितीयं यदि वत्स्यसि ।
एतद्वै ते दिवा वृत्तं रात्रौ वृत्तमतोऽन्यथा ॥१०॥
10. ekarātramuṣitveha dvitīyaṁ yadi vatsyasi ,
etadvai te divā vṛttaṁ rātrau vṛttamato'nyathā.
10. ekarātram uṣitvā iha dvitīyam yadi vatsyasi etat
vai te divā vṛttam rātrau vṛttam ataḥ anyathā
10. If you stay here for one night and then stay a second, your situation (vṛttam) by day will indeed be thus, but by night, it will be entirely different.
