महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-129, verse-2

अम्बरीषश्च नाभाग इष्टवान्यमुनामनु ।
यज्ञैश्च तपसा चैव परां सिद्धिमवाप सः ॥२॥
2. ambarīṣaśca nābhāga iṣṭavānyamunāmanu ,
yajñaiśca tapasā caiva parāṁ siddhimavāpa saḥ.

yajñaiḥ ca tapasā ca eva parām siddhim avāpa saḥ
2. And Ambarisha (ambarīṣaḥ), the son of Nabha (nābhāgaḥ), performed sacrifices along the Yamuna. Indeed, through Vedic rituals (yajña) and penance (tapas), he attained the supreme perfection (siddhi).
