महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-9, verse-17

ते तस्यां वरुणं देवं धर्मपाशस्थिताः सदा ।
उपासते महात्मानं सर्वे सुचरितव्रताः ॥१७॥
17. te tasyāṁ varuṇaṁ devaṁ dharmapāśasthitāḥ sadā ,
upāsate mahātmānaṁ sarve sucaritavratāḥ.

sadā upāsate mahātmānam sarve sucaritavratāḥ
17. In that (realm), all of them, whose observances (vrata) are well-performed and who always abide by the natural law (dharma), worship the magnificent god Varuna.
