महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-39, verse-5

भवितव्यमवश्यं तत्सुरकार्यमनिन्दिते ।
अवतेरुस्ततः सर्वे देवभागैर्महीतलम् ॥५॥
5. bhavitavyamavaśyaṁ tatsurakāryamanindite ,
avaterustataḥ sarve devabhāgairmahītalam.

avateruḥ tataḥ sarve devabhāgaiḥ mahītalam
5. O blameless one, that divine task must certainly be accomplished. Consequently, all of them descended to the surface of the earth, embodying parts of the gods.
