पूर्वमेवैष हृदये व्यवसायोऽभवन्मम ।
यथास्मि चोदितो राज्ञा भवत्या पृथयैव च ॥३॥

yathāsmi codito rājñā bhavatyā pṛthayaiva ca.

3. This resolve was already in my heart, just as I have been urged by the king (Dhṛtarāṣṭra), by you (Gāndhārī), and by Pṛthā (Kuntī).
