महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-39, verse-4

न ते शोच्या महात्मानः सर्व एव नरर्षभाः ।
क्षत्रधर्मपराः सन्तस्तथा हि निधनं गताः ॥४॥
4. na te śocyā mahātmānaḥ sarva eva nararṣabhāḥ ,
kṣatradharmaparāḥ santastathā hi nidhanaṁ gatāḥ.

kṣatradharmaparāḥ santaḥ tathā hi nidhanam gatāḥ

4. Those great souls, all of them the best among men, are not to be mourned. For, dedicated to the intrinsic nature of the warrior (kṣatra-dharma), they have indeed met their end.
