महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-12, verse-16

सादयित्वा परबलं कृत्वा च बलहर्षणम् ।
स्वभूमौ योजयेद्युद्धं परभूमौ तथैव च ॥१६॥
16. sādayitvā parabalaṁ kṛtvā ca balaharṣaṇam ,
svabhūmau yojayedyuddhaṁ parabhūmau tathaiva ca.

16. Having overcome the enemy forces and having caused their demoralization, one should engage in battle both in one's own territory and similarly in enemy territory.
