महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-142, verse-6

ते ययुः शरणं विप्रांस्त ऊचुः काञ्जयामहे ।
इत्युक्तास्ते द्विजान्प्राहुर्जयतेह कपानिति ।
भूगतान्हि विजेतारो वयमित्येव पार्थिव ॥६॥
6. te yayuḥ śaraṇaṁ viprāṁsta ūcuḥ kāñjayāmahe ,
ityuktāste dvijānprāhurjayateha kapāniti ,
bhūgatānhi vijetāro vayamityeva pārthiva.
6. te yayuḥ śaraṇam viprān tān ūcuḥ
kāñjayāmahe | iti uktāḥ te dvijān prāhuḥ
jayata iha kapān iti | bhūgatān
hi vijetāraḥ vayam iti eva pārthiva

6. They (the petitioners) went for refuge to the brahmins. And they said, "We shall be victorious." Thus addressed, those brahmins told the petitioners, "Conquer the Kapas here!" (And the brahmins further declared), "Indeed, O king, we are the conquerors of those who are on earth."
