मम बाहुसहस्रं तु पश्यन्तां सैनिका रणे ।
विक्रमेण महीं कृत्स्नां जयेयं विपुलव्रत ।
तां च धर्मेण संप्राप्य पालयेयमतन्द्रितः ॥८॥

8. mama bāhusahasraṁ tu paśyantāṁ sainikā raṇe ,
vikrameṇa mahīṁ kṛtsnāṁ jayeyaṁ vipulavrata ,
tāṁ ca dharmeṇa saṁprāpya pālayeyamatandritaḥ.

"Let my thousand arms indeed be seen by the soldiers in battle. By valor, O sage of great vows, may I conquer the entire earth. And having obtained that earth, may I rule it vigilantly, in accordance with (dharma)."
